    What is Botulinum Toxin?

Botulinum toxin is an effective medical aesthetic treatment that reduces the appearance of wrinkles and slows down the formation of new ones by temporarily relaxing the facial muscles. When properly planned, the aim is not to alter facial expressions, but to achieve a more rested and natural appearance. At our clinic, botulinum toxin treatments are tailored to each individual, taking into account the patient’s facial anatomy, facial expression patterns and expectations.

In which regions can it be implemented?

Botulinum toxin is most commonly administered in the following areas:

    • Forehead lines
    • Lines between the eyebrows
    • Around the eyes (crow’s feet)
    • Fine expression lines on the nose
    • Irregularities on the jaw
    • Platysma bands on the neck
    • Masseter muscle (jawline slimming and treatment for teeth grinding)

The areas to be treated for each patient are determined following an individual assessment.

    Who is it suitable for?

    Botulinum toxin;

    • For those who want a well-rested look,
    • For those whose expression lines are starting to become more noticeable,
    • Those who are not considering surgery,
    • It may be suitable for those seeking a natural rejuvenation whilst preserving their facial expressions.

    Process and Results

The procedure is carried out in a clinical setting and usually takes 10–15 minutes. It does not require anaesthesia. After the procedure, the patient can resume their daily routine immediately.

    • The first effects usually begin to be noticed within 3–5 days.
    • The full effect becomes apparent within approximately two weeks.
    • Although the duration of the effect varies from person to person, it is on average 4–6 months.
    • Regular use may help to reduce the deepening of expression lines in the long term.
