What Is Facial Fat Injection?
Facial fat injection is a permanent filling and tissue renewal procedure performed using the person's own tissue (autologous). Unlike synthetic fillers, it does not pose the risk of allergy or foreign body reaction. The obtained fat tissue is turned into nano-fat or micro-fat form and injected with precision into the cheekbones, under-eye sockets, temples, nasolabial grooves and the tip of the chin.
In Which Situations Is Facial Fat Injection Preferred?
- Volume Loss in the Midface and Cheekbones: A sinking of the cheeks and a loss of the defined shape of the facial oval.
- Under-Eye Sunkenness and Dark Circle Appearance: Deepening of the grooves under the under-eye bags and thinning of the skin.
- Flattening in the Temple and Forehead Area: Volume losses that create a skeletal appearance.
- Deep Laugh Lines and Wrinkles: The corner of the mouth (marrionette) and nose-lip (nasolabial) lines become more prominent.
- Decrease in Skin Quality: The desire to restore vitality, brightness and flexibility to the skin with the regenerative effect of stem cells.
- Permanent Tissue Renewal Request: Looking for a permanent and natural solution for life instead of temporary hyaluronic acid fillers.

Which techniques are used?
Micro-Fat Injection:
It is the application of fat cells taken and purified with thin cannulas to deep tissues and areas with lack of volume (zygomatic, temple, chin).
Nano-Fat Injection:
It is the liquefaction of the fat tissue by passing it through special filters and enriching it with stem cells. Rather than adding volume, it is applied superficially to correct fine wrinkles, remove under-eye dark circles and improve skin quality.
Centrifugation & Purification Technologies:
In order to preserve the vitality of the extracted fats, they are washed with closed-circuit centrifuge systems to preserve the stem cell content.
How Is Surgery Performed?
The operation is usually performed under local anesthesia + sedation or general anesthesia and takes an average of 1 - 1.5 hours.
- Fat Tissue Removal: Fat tissue is collected from the abdomen, waist or inner thigh with the help of special micro cannulas and low-pressure vacuum.
- Purification: The collected tissue is separated from blood and fluid components to obtain the fat and stem cell fraction with the highest viability.
- Injection with Micro Cannulas: Purified fats are transferred to the planned layers of the face (over the bone, between the muscles and under the skin) by dripping in micro amounts.
- Closure: Millimetric cannula entries in the areas where fat is removed and injected are closed with aesthetic tapes.

How Permanent Are the Results?
Approximately 40% to 60% of the injected fat cells become permanent by being fed by capillaries in the transferred area. These permanent fat cells stay with you for life and act like a natural part of your body. The tissue remaining after the first 2-3 months is completely permanent.
Where Do Traces Remain, and How Visible Are They?
- Scar-free Procedure: Fat injection does not involve any surgical incisions.
- Micro Entry Points: Blunt cannula entry holes of only 1-2 mm are used both in the area where the fat is removed and on the face. These spots heal completely within a few weeks and leave no scars.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does the recovery process take, and will there be excessive swelling in the face?
In the early period (first 3-5 days), a slight excess volume is given by calculating the absorption rate of the transferred fat; Therefore, it is natural to have edema. Most of the swelling subsides in the first week. A natural and settled appearance appears within 2-3 weeks.
Does fat injection change with weight gain or loss?
Yes. Since the fat cells transferred to the face maintain their vitality, these cells may also expand if you gain excessive weight in the future; It may lose some volume if you lose weight. Keeping the weight stable provides the best results.
Should synthetic fillers or fat injections be preferred?
Synthetic fillings are temporary (6-18 months) and can be costly with large volume requirements. Since fat injection is the person's own natural tissue, it does not carry the risk of allergy, is permanent for a lifetime and renews the skin thanks to the stem cells it contains.
