Natural-looking Rhinoplasty
Natural-looking
Rhinoplasty
Each face has different anatomical features, different skin structure and different proportions.
Therefore, we believe that rhinoplasty is not a standard operation.
A successful rhinoplasty result for us; It is not a nose that is noticeable at first glance that it has been operated on, but a result that integrates naturally with the face.

What Is Rhinoplasty?
Rhinoplasty is a surgical operation performed to change the shape, size or proportions of the nose. It is applied to correct congenital anatomical disorders, eliminate post-traumatic deformations, or treat bone/cartilage curvatures (septum deviation) that cause breathing difficulties. It can be performed for both aesthetic and medical reasons.
Who Gets Rhinoplasty?
Anyone who has completed facial development (usually 18 years or older) and whose general health condition is suitable for surgery is a candidate for rhinoplasty. Complaints and expectations are as follows:
- Those with a hump, deviation, or asymmetry in their nose
- Those who are disturbed by the droopy, thick or wide nose tip
- Those who cannot breathe comfortably due to nasal congestion
- Those who want correction after previous accidents or unsuccessful operations (revision)

What Are the Techniques for Rhinoplasty?
The operation is performed with two main techniques, depending on the existing structure of the nose and the targeted change:
Open Rhinoplasty:
It is applied by making an incision in the small skin band between the nostrils. It is preferred in severe deformations and revision surgeries as it allows the surgeon to directly see the nasal structure.
Closed Rhinoplasty:
It is performed directly through the nostrils without an incision. When viewed from the outside, there is no visible trace; The healing process is generally faster and is preferred for mild to moderate corrections.
How Is Rhinoplasty Performed?
The surgery is performed under general anesthesia and takes approximately 2 to 4 hours. Depending on the chosen technique, the surgeon reshapes the bone or cartilage tissue on the back of the nose and, if necessary, corrects the tissues blocking the airway.
At the end of the operation, special tampons or silicone splints are placed inside the nose, and a protective splint is attached to the outside.

What Are Side Effects?
It is completely natural to experience some temporary side effects in the first days after surgery:
- Bruising and swelling (edema) around the nose and eyes
- Bleeding in the form of light spotting during the first 24–48 hours
- Nasal congestion and mild pain
- Temporary numbness at the tip of the nose
These symptoms are brought under control in a short time with appropriate care and medications prescribed by your doctor.
What Should You Pay Attention to After Rhinoplasty?
In order for the recovery process to be comfortable and successful, the following steps should be taken into consideration:
- In the first days, one should sleep with a double pillow to keep the head elevated.
- Heavy exercises and activities that pose a risk of impact should be avoided for the first few months.
- Glasses should not be used for at least 2-3 months and sun protection creams should not be neglected.
- Nasal cleaning should be done gently with sea water spray and solutions recommended by the doctor, and the nose should not be wiped harshly.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is rhinoplasty surgery painful?
Since the surgery is performed under general anesthesia, no pain is felt during the procedure. Mild pain that may occur in the first few days afterwards can be easily controlled with standard painkillers.
When does the nose take on its final shape?
Most of the initial swelling disappears within 3-4 weeks. However, it takes approximately 6 months to 1 year for the tissues to fully settle and the nose to take its final shape.
Will there be a scar after the surgery?
There is no scar left in closed rhinoplasty. In open rhinoplasty, the small incision scar at the base of the nose fades over time and becomes almost invisible.
